A one time Resort Fee of $15.00 plus tax per room will be charged to guests directly upon check in and will include entry gate electronic card, pool gate codes, parking permit, FREE morning Maui newspaper, FREE Maui magazine, FREE local calls, Complimentary "Cyber Cafe" access card, and Wednesday Mai Tai Party invitation.
A new walkway will be constructed down the central courtyard to connect existing walkways with the front driveway, so guests heading to the beach will have a firm surface to walk on. The walkway project has already commenced and is anticipated to complete by June 15, 2008. To minimize any disruption to guests, work will only be done between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. from Monday to Friday.
Kamaole Sands will also be renovating its lobby and front desk from June 29 to July 14, 2008. The old front desk will be removed and replaced with new construction with an ADA station added. Work on the lobby will take place only from Monday through Friday, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. A temporary guest reception area will be designated for guests checking in and out.
